All the usb 3 flash drives run very hot, especially the sandisks which are very very hot!
If you want a usb flash drive to last then get a usb 2 version.
But can they use for MacBook Pro?

I have heard very mixed things about the Sansdisk Extreme Pro. I was about to buy it, until I saw several reviews on both Amazon and Newegg that it dies after 1 year or so, and that it can get pretty hot.
How do you call yourself a 'reviewer' when all you do is spin off a bunch of page specs and not actually anything about using the product or some of the negatives!? What a joke.
