  2. First of all, Thank you so much Oluv for this great review. You are putting a lot of effort in your reviews! I, like pretty much anyone else would'we went for the Bose or B&O. I am so glad I didn''t. After watching this review I bought an Envaya 250 a few months ago. By now I could say I used it every single day and tested inside and outside. The sound quality is absolutely fantastic! I use it mostly in my living room and it sounds like a much, much bigger hi-fi. It really does. Outside is also pretty good, I have been using it on my terrace and on the beach and of course, it doesn't sound as loud as inside but Its still loud enough and makes a very rich sound. I had the chance to compare it to a Bose speaker and I much prefer the Denon. I am very, very impressed! Worth every penny. Thank you Oluv!

  5. This is a super comparison video. To my ear, with my Sennheiser earplugs, the Denon is of course excellent but so is the Riva and the Vifa. The B&O is amazing for it's size and you've even made the Charge sound good! The Bose SR+ stands exposed here as an overpriced product that would probably be best for classical music… surprisingly bad. Thank you for this review and many others 😊

  8. Hi I received this Denon Envaya DSB-250 2 days ago, but the sound seems to be not good with basses… the basses are heared few few, even if the speaker trembles
. And high sound are lower quality than the bose sound link mini 2, for example. Is it possible that the reason is to let this Denon plau for some hours and then it will play better? Or is the problem that I use a smartphone bluetooth 4.0 on the samsung s5? maybe the bluetooth is the problem?

  10. Hey Oluv, is it still worth buying the Denon speaker to usher the new year at a slightly discounted price? I'm just worried about the battery drain and volume sync issue that has plagued the Envaya series.

  11. Hello! I just bought the Envaya mini (150, 2017 version) for 60 euros. But I feel I could use a more solid filled sound. Should I upgrade to the 250 envaya? Or should I keep this one because of the price I got?

  12. Great to have speaker reviews playing something other than bass-heavy, compressed "doof doof" tracks. You actually get to hear the dynamics of the speaker.

  13. Thank you Olav! Your videos have helped me to get a really great pocket speaker! I couldn't expect such a small device would be able to provide such the great sound.

  14. I wonder how the Minirig 3 holds against the Denon DSB 250 BT. I know Minirig is mono but I wanna see which is louder, or has more bass. They both sound super clear in your videos but Im torn. Might end up getting both. One for the beach, the other for my team practice.

  16. Please help me, is there any speakers for PC like this Denon? I have it, sound is amazing, but i really don't like control and connection too. I connect my previous speaker to pc by USB and I have no other trouble with charging or connection.

  17. Nice review. I bought the Denon on the basis of this review but returned it. The sound was very flat in the middle and not crisp in the highs. Marginally better than the original Bose soundlink mini. I was a bit disappointed by that. After that I tried the Soundlink Revolve plus and my experience is that it sounds quite good and balanced. Either in the middle of a room or against the wall. In the last position the bass is a bit more punchy, but I don't get the feeling that it sounds "strange" like you mentioned? Can you clarify what you mean by that?

  19. Hello there. I need your help.

  20. After very nearly ordering the Tribit Maxsound Plus based on your review of it I decided to go for the Denon instead. My initial reaction was to be almost slightly disappointed but I soon realised two things – not all recordings are equal in quality! Once I found a few tracks that could do it justice the detail, resolution and stereo imaging are quite awesome. Secondly, as I have found with all new speakers, break-in is a real phenomenon. After just two hours of playback at around 60-70% volume the speakers soften, opening up the formidable bass performance (for a speaker of this size). Awesome bit of kit. Purchased for £125 at Electricshop

  21. I got the speaker today… very nice overall…excellent sound stage for not a 360 speaker and nice detail….BUT….
Very weird though that no one mentioned the hiss noise you hear all the time at low volumes, making the speaker sooo annoying at before bed night times…
if someone manages in some way to stop it plz tell me…

  23. I love my Beoplay A1, (in fact I got two for stereo pairing) What I would like to contribute in this lovely review and conversation is that the Beoplay A1 (and maybe the other speakers too) could have the sound quality adjusted via the b&O app. It’s great and makes the whole experience more personal
